Grace Kaya


Grace has been practicing yoga for 20 years and teaching for 10 years.  She is most passionate supporting students to explore the subtle sensations of their body, head, and heart with curiosity and compassion. 


As a professional dancer, she traveled the world performing and teaching workshops in street, contemporary, circus and improvisational dance.  Throughout her dance career, Grace practiced yoga alongside for its abilities to strengthen and rehabilitate the body while calming the mind.  With guidance from senior teachers, Kathryn Beet (Vinyasa), Patricia White (Hatha), Hali Schwartz (Restorative & Yoga Philosophy), Hari Nam (Kundalini) & Katherine Duncanson (Kundalini) discovered it also lowered her stress and anxiety levels while supporting a greater sense of self-esteem.


After an accident in 2008, Grace pursued a path of teaching yoga completing a 200hr Hatha & Vinyasa YTT and a 300hr Hatha YTT at YogaSpace in Toronto, Canada.  She furthered her yoga education by attending training in Restorative yoga and in 2016 completed a 220hr Kundalini Aquarian Level 1 Instructor at iSKY in Reading, UK.  Grace is also a practicing Holistic Therapist offering gentle acupressure and Thai reflexology for women at Graceful Wellness Sheffield.
