This class is perfect for introducing kids to yoga at a young age. Games, songs and storytelling are combined with traditional yoga techniques for a fun and child-friendly class.
Children can derive enormous benefits from yoga, both physically and mentally. It is a great non-competitive physical activity which can help to develop balance, coordination, flexibility, strength and body-awareness, all whilst having fun!
Additionally, yoga helps to foster a calm and balanced state of mind, countering the busyness and stress of life. We use techniques which help to develop concentration and relaxation.
All practices are based around the pillars of kindness and compassion towards ourselves and others.
Come along and give it a go! Parents are welcome to join in too, or enjoy a cuppa in the comfy waiting area.
